People issues, oh people issues, 

They come in all shapes and all sizes. 

Some are big and some are small, 

But they all can make us feel so small.

 

The way we talk, the things we say,

Can hurt someone in such a way, 

That scars may last for years to come, 

And we may never know what we've done.

 

We fight and argue, point and blame, 

And sometimes we forget why we came. 

Together, as one, we can achieve so much, 

But it takes understanding and a gentle touch.

 

We all have struggles, we all have pain, 

But it's important to remember to refrain, 

From judging or hurting those we meet, 

For we never know what they may be facing on the street.

 

So let's be kind, let's be fair, 

Let's show compassion and that we care.

Can be resolved when we share tissues.

For people issues may come and go,

God's wisdom to us, He imparts.

Against the storms of doubt and fear, 

It gives us clarity, makes things clear.

 

And in the Proverbs, we find advice, 

To seek wisdom, to make it our prize, 

For in it, we find understanding, 

And the ability to make wise planning.

 

So let us seek wisdom from above, 

For it is a gift of God's great love, 

And as we live our lives each day, 

May His wisdom guide us in every way.

 

For with wisdom comes a life well lived,

 And a heart that is joyful and revived, 

So let us seek God's wisdom with care,

Where is Your Hope?

Hope is the anchor of the soul, 

A steadfast refuge in life's toll, 

And in the Bible, we find the goal, 

Of a hope that fills us whole.

 

For God's promises are true, 

And in them, we find hope anew, 

In times of trouble and despair, 

God's word lifts us from the snare.

 

Like the rainbow after the flood, 

Or the manna given in the wilderness wood, 

God's provision and love endure, 

And in them, we find hope secure.

 

And in the ultimate sacrifice, 

Of Jesus on the cross, we realize, 

That our hope is not in vain, 

For in His resurrection, we gain,

 

A hope that death cannot destroy, 

A hope that fills our hearts with joy, 

For in Christ, we have eternal life, 

And in Him, we find hope that's rife.

 

So let us hold fast to the hope we profess, 

For in it, we find God's faithfulness, 

And as we journey through life's scope, 

May our hope in Christ forever be our hope.

Gods Love

From Genesis to Revelation's end, God's love for us does never bend. In words and deeds, He makes it known, That we are not to Him alone.

He formed us from the dust of earth, And gave us life and wondrous birth. With grace and mercy, He abounds, And through His love, our sins are drowned.

When we were lost, He sent His Son, To show us how the race is run. Jesus' death, the ultimate price, To reconcile us with God's device.

His love is patient, never ends, He calls us friends, and we are cleansed. His love is perfect, strong, and pure, A gift that we can't but adore.

Through every trial, every test, His love for us remains the best. For nothing can separate us, From the love of Christ, so wondrous.

So let us sing and give Him praise, For all the love He shows always. And live our lives to serve His name, To show His love to all the same

Humility

Humility is like a gentle rain, A gift from the Lord, a light to sustain. A grace that transforms, a change from within, A strength to endure, and a heart full of win.

It takes us to places we cannot imagine, It shows us the truth, and it sets us free. It lifts up the lowly, and brings down the proud, It guides us to wisdom, and peace to abound.

The Bible speaks of humility’s grace, A path to be followed, a journey in faith. From Moses who chose to serve and obey, To Jesus who emptied himself for us to save.

Humility is a virtue, we’re told, A gift from the Lord, to have and to hold. It shines like the stars, and shines in the night, Bringing light to the world, in Jesus’ sight.

So let us embrace this humility, each day, With grace and with love, in all that we say. For it is a treasure, more precious than gold, A gift from the Lord, to have and to hold

JOY

 Joy is like a river, flowing from within,

A gift from the Lord, a peace to begin. A wellspring of hope, in troubled times, A light in the darkness, a beautiful rhyme.

It brings us together, this happiness shared, A bond between us, a love to be spared. It lifts up our hearts, and helps us to see, The beauty of life, and all it can be.

In the Bible, we read of joy’s sweet grace, The happiness that comes from a life lived in faith. From the shepherds who heard of the Christ child's birth, To the apostles who spread the good news across the earth.

Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, we're told, A blessing from God, to have and to hold. It shines like the sun, and warms like the flame, Bringing hope and peace, in Jesus' name.

So let us embrace this joy, every day, With gratitude and love, in all that we say. For it is a treasure, more precious than gold, A gift from the Lord, to have and to hold

KINDNESS

Kindness is a treasure that we should all pursue,

A simple act of love that makes the world anew. 

It brightens up the day, and chases all the strife, 

And spreads like ripples on a pond throughout our life.

 

So let us all be kind, in every little thing, 

With every word we say, and every bell we ring. 

For when we share our love, it multiplies so fast, 

And kindness grows like flowers, blooming in its path.

 

So spread a little love, and watch the world awaken, 

With hearts filled up with kindness, all for goodness' sake. 

For kindness is a gift that we can all bestow, 

And it's the greatest treasure that we'll ever know.

Politics of Deceit

It is a vicious cycle

Every five years we have a debacle

Always going round in a circle

We barely make any progress

The same crop of politicians over & again

They rebrand and start to complain

Yet mwananchi want them to explain

Why we never make progress

It seems the electorate is mentally captured

Down trodden and economically predisposed

When did the masses really matter?

Why can't we make progress!

In 2022 there was just another election 

Another display of ignorance & imperfection

The politicians aggressively fought for a portion

To become part of the looting scheme

Thoughts

Thoughts hold a power strong and bright

Both friend and foe, both day and night

At times they overwhelm, cause us woe

Leaving us feeling lost and low

 

But they can also bring us light

Filling us with hope, with might

To shape our lives, reach our height

We must control these thoughts, with sight

 

We must filter and sort, what's right

And let go of negativity in sight

Focus on what's important, and insight

And let our thoughts, be a guiding light

 

By taming thoughts, we shall transform

Into a force, in our life's norm

Embracing their power, like a warm

Making them work, never be a harm

 

So let us take control, and make a stand

And guide our thoughts, to a better land.

Nature

 

And in the silence of the forest so deep, 

Where the only sound, is the rustling of leaves, 

We can find peace, and a sense of release, 

And connect with nature, with our soul's ease.

 

The rivers flowing, like a stream of life, 

The glaciers shining, like a crown of snow, 

The deserts stretching, with sand dunes so high, 

Nature's diversity, a wonder to show.

 

And in the midst of the city's bright lights, 

Where the hustle and bustle, never subsides, 

We can find a park, a piece of green delight, 

And breathe in the fresh air, with open eyes.

 

So let us explore, this world so vast, 

And marvel at nature, at every chance, 

For it holds secrets, and tales untold, 

And a beauty, that will forever unfold.

 

For nature is not just a place we visit, 

But a part of us, and our very existence, 

So let us respect, and protect its worth, 

For it is the source, of all life on earth.

Human Vices

We all have flaws and imperfections, 

That lead us down the path of vices. 

Greed, anger, lust, and pride, 

Our downfall, these are often sided.

 

Greed clouds our judgement with desire, 

For wealth and power that never tire. 

We reach and grasp, but never find, 

The happiness and peace of mind.

 

Anger and hatred, like a fire, 

Burns within and takes us higher. 

Blinding us to reason and right,

It leads us to endless night.

 

Lust for pleasure, for flesh and fame, 

Drives us to play a never-ending game. 

We search for love in all the wrong places, 

Ignoring the beauty in familiar faces.

 

Pride, the deadliest of all vices, 

Blinds us to our own limitations. 

We believe we're better than the rest, 

Forgetting that we too are blessed.

 

These vices are the demons within, 

The source of pain, sorrow and sin. 

They lead us away from what's true, 

And rob us of the good we can do.

 

It is only through self-reflection, 

That we can learn to take correction. 

We must face our vices head on, 

And let our better selves shine upon.

 

For it's never too late to change, 

To rid ourselves of these vices strange. 

And live our lives with grace and peace,

Bringing joy, love and happiness to all who see
