My Heart Bleeds With Thee
Oh! Dear one!
This far we've come
Not by our own strength!
But Gods Will,
And Grace,
That has enabled us overcome
Insurmountable  Challenges
Together we've taken on the world
Together we've conquered
Together,
We make a great team
My Heart bleeds with thee
Oh! dear one.
Let's make the best
Of the time we got.

CHOICES

Today I make a solemn vow
Not ever to take a bow
Even under an arrow and bow
But to bow to my conscience.
I choose.

Today, in earnest I declare
That I'll not fear but dare
To remain focused and clear
Of my duties to take care
And protect my affairs
I choose.

I choose
Not to engage in trivial and frivolous talk
Not to relent in this long freedom walk
Not to listen to conventional tales of folk
But forge ahead valiantly,because ticking is the clock
I choose.

To associate with folks of value
Persons of principle and positive cue
Friends who never have the 'friendship due'
But who ensure you add value
The kind who i call friends true
I choose.

To make the right choices
That lead to eternal rejoices
And minimal or no consequences
For I choose to live and let live

That thing have changed, we’re in the 21^st century

That Americans’ are wrong Africa is not a country

That we’re the next frontier for trade and industry

Africa a hotbed of culture and opportunities

Someone tell the world

We’ll never apologize for being ourselves

We’ll fight with all strength from inner selves

And conquer all negativity even with elves

Africa a hotbed of natural resources

Someone tell the world

We conquered colonialism with bare hands

With convictions strong than monsoon winds

We outsmarted the European ways and sounds

Africa a hot bed diverse talent

Africa and Africans are in charge of their destinies

Despite some challenges we make no apologies

But we vow to unite against all our enemies

Africa a hotbed of vibrant people

A Godsend angel

 A Rare beauty

Inside and outside

Your ambition motivate me

Your humility encourage me

To be a better man

I value our friendship

Regardless of the hiccups

Other challenges will be there

But together we shall overcome

Where the sun rises with a chill

Traffic jams, everyday’s drill

Daily congestion in the bar & grill

The place to run

When looking for fun

I am number one fan

Of dynamic Nairobi

From downtown to uptown

Anything you desire you can own

But beware, my friend lest you drown

In the fast moving life of this town

It is a strangely friendly city

Bursting with hunger for creativity

Of a people driven by desire and creativity

To change and improve the vicinity

Everyday is an episode

Of the Nairobi adventure series

Beautiful ladies, exquisite hotels

Fancy cars and powerful machines

My mind is flooding with thought

Thoughts about her plight

Of late she can’t fight

Her name is Fatuma

She is a caring mother

Of children with no father

The only courage she can gather

She can’t see nor hear

Always living in fear

With a constant tear

When ridiculed she smiles

And sit on the tiles

As her worries piles

Her name is fatuma

She worries about you

She cries for me and you

Every time she tell you

You burst in laughter

Thinking you're smarter

Or even better

Her name is Fatuma

She has riches and wealth

Only devoid of good health

To propel her forward stealth

She needs to be heard

Before she turns hard

On you,oppressing bastard
