I know of a certain perculiar individuals
They come with elaborate manuals
Claiming to know how to protect our financials
Little do we know they're ficticious appraisals

With convincing words they make empty promises
Promises on how they will make better houses
They make us believe they're the better choices
But after the vote become deaf to our voices

Way past midnight

I think of our plight

That's beyond sight

No one should take our birthright

But they find our new ideas strange
So they refuse to even engage
