Doubt

In sacred verses penned of ancient lore,
Doubt whispers softly, knocking at the door.
Within the Bible's pages, faith entwined,
A dance between belief and questioning mind.

Moses' doubts upon the mountain's peak,
Asking, seeking, the truth to seek.
Abraham, with questioned sacrifice,
A test of faith, doubt's shadowed device.

In garden's hush, where Adam stood,
Doubt crept in like shadows in the wood.
Eve pondered, uncertain of the fruit,A moment where belief and skepticism took root.

Thomas, too, with skeptical gaze,
Doubted till his hands met the risen's praise.
The Bible's tapestry, woven in doubt's thread,
A human journey, where uncertainty is bred.

Yet faith persists, a resilient flame,
In doubt's embrace, it finds its aim.
For in questioning, we seek the light,
The truth revealed, in doubt's silent night.

Whispers in the Urban wind

In shadows of the dusk, a whisper takes flight,
On the wings of the wind, dancing in the night.
A clandestine tale, in hushed tones it's spun,
A modern sonnet beneath the setting sun.
Soft breezes carry secrets, elusive and sly,

Through city streets and open sky.
Urban echoes mingle with nature is's soft hymn,
A whispered melody, contemporary and trim.
In the hum of the city, where stories unfold,
The wind carries narratives, both young and old.

Concrete and leaves, a juxtaposed blend,
A modern ballad, in the whispering wind.
A symphony of murmurs, harmonizing unseen,
The wind, a courier of dreams untold,
In contemporary whispers, stories unfold.

The Vanity of Life

The vanity of life, a fleeting thing,
A shadow in the wind, a song without a ring.
A show that’s soon forgotten, a tale that’s quickly told,
A glimpse of what could be, a story that grows old.

We chase after fame, and riches untold,
We seek to be remembered, in tales that never grow old.
But in the end, what is left behind,
Is a legacy of emptiness, a life that was not kind.

The vanity of life, a chase after the wind,
A search for the meaning, of a purpose we cannot find.
A quest for the answers, a thirst for the truth,
A longing for something, that seems just out of reach, uncouth.

We build up our empires, and seek to be known,
We pour out our hearts, and we suffer alone.
But all that we leave, is emptiness behind,
A void in the world, a life that was not kind.

So let us embrace, the truth that we find,
A life that is full, and a heart that is kind.
For the vanity of life, is just a fleeting thing,
A shadow in the wind, a song without a ring

Pushing On

Interests drive human actions
Choices affect our emotions
With our internal reflections

Our choices are who we are today
A constant reminder of everyday
It doesn't matter what others say
You got to be ready not to decay

Truth is, life is for the living
Blessed are those who're giving
Not out of plenty but just empathizing
To help a soul to keep on pushing

Pushing on even when things are tough
Choosing to ignore the gloom with a laugh
Because in this life nothing is enough
We must remain positive and tough

Hustlers Charade

In the realm of politics, a tale unfolds,
Of a 'hustler' who dazzled, with bold promises.
He wore a slick smile, spoke with eloquent grace,
Claiming he'd uplift the lowly in life's race.

Oh, the hustler's creed, so persuasive and grand,
He swore to fight for every woman and man.
With catchy slogans and flashy campaign signs,
He won over hearts, like a cunning feline.

But once in power, the truth was unveiled,
His promises shattered, his integrity failed.
The hustler's creed, a facade, a charade,
A comical twist, in this political parade.

He raised taxes high, burdening the poor,
And cut back on programs, leaving them unsure.
The lowly souls he pledged to defend,
Are now left neglected, their hopes at an end.

Oh, the hustler's creed, now a source of laughter,
As he dines in opulence, indulging in the finer,
Leaving the lowly to struggle and fight,
Their dreams crushed, their futures held tight.

I hope the people, will see through his cunning disguise,
His comical antics, his deceitful lies.
And rise together, in a united might,
To expose the hustler, who thrives on their plight.

No longer fooled by his promises hollow,
I hope they'll seek justice, their resilience they'd follow.
In this world of politics and power,
The hustler's creed should meet its final hour.

Let this be a lesson, both comical and true,
To never trust blindly, to see the lies through.
For in the realm of hustlers and their deceit,
The lowly shall rise, and justice they'll meet.

Taming Anger

Anger, a tempest in my heart,

A storm that rages, tearing me apart.

A fire that burns, consuming all in its path,

A force that controls, with an iron grasp.

It starts as a spark, a flicker of heat,

A feeling that rises, hard to defeat.

It grows and grows, until it can't be ignored,

And then it explodes, like a volcano once more.

Anger, a force that can't be tamed,

A beast that's unleashed, a monster unchained.

It clouds my judgment, and warps my mind,

It makes me lash out, and leave hurt behind.

But in the aftermath, when the storm has passed,

I see the damage done, the hurt that will last.

And then I realize, with a sense of shame,

That my anger, in the end, was all in vain.

I've learned to temper, this tempest within,

To find peace and calm, and let love begin.

For anger may be a powerful force indeed,

But in the end, it's love that we truly need.

Selective Morality

In the realm of human hearts, a complex play unfolds,
Where morality dances with shadows, stories untold.
A tale of selective judgment, a delicate charade,
Where actions deemed righteous, in favor, they cascade.

Behold, the stage is set, where self-interest takes its role,
And a mask of righteousness disguises the true goal.
A symphony of bias, where our principles sway,
Selecting only what suits us, discarding what may dismay.

For in this realm of mortals, we paint with shades of gray,
Morality's canvas, manipulated as we sway.
Convenient choices, a tapestry we weave,
But the fabric of truth, it begins to cleave.

See, some deem kindness virtuous when it benefits their gain,
But turn a blind eye to others who suffer in disdain.
They preach empathy's gospel, yet their hearts remain closed,
To those who are different, to the troubles undisclosed.

Selective morality, a mirror reflecting self,
A skewed perception of righteousness, clinging to wealth.
Weaving webs of justification, like spiders in the night,
Convincing themselves of virtue, though shadows hold them tight.

When faced with temptation, with desires that tempt the soul,
Do we hold to our principles, or let them freely stroll?
Do we sacrifice convenience, for the sake of what is right?
Or do we mold our morals, to fit our own delight?

But let us not despair, for within this human race,
There are those who resist, who embrace moral grace.
They stand against the currents, with unwavering might,
Choosing what's right, not just when it's expedient and bright.

They see through the fog of selective morality's haze,
Guided by a compass, unbending in its ways.
They lend a hand to strangers, to those they've never known,
And their principles shine brightly, like stars that proudly own.

Let us strive to be more, to rise above the tide,
To shed the cloak of selfishness, with humility beside.
For in the realm of hearts, where selective morality resides,
May we choose true integrity, and cast off deceit's guise.

Foolish Politics

In the realm of politics, where fools may deceive,
Whose fault is it when we are so easily deceived?
When a jester with empty promises takes the stage,
And convinces us that he'll bring a brighter age.

Oh, the blame does not solely lie with the fool,
For we, the people, can be a bit gullible, it's true!
We yearn for change, for hope and relief,
And sometimes fall for a charlatan's belief.

With rhetoric so grand, they paint a rosy scene,
Promising tomorrow's comfort, where today we keen.
They speak of progress, of prosperity to come,
And we, like eager children, are lured to succumb.

But as the fool's mask begins to fade,
We realize the truth in the choices we made.
We find ourselves trapped in a web of deceit,
Wondering how we allowed this bumbling feat.

Oh, the fault lies with us, for we hold the power,
To see beyond the act and not be devoured.
We must question the motives, the claims that they make,
And not let foolishness lead us astray, for goodness sake!

So let's laugh at our folly, with a comical tone,
For in satire, the absurdity can be fully shown.
Political experiences, a circus of jesters and clowns,
Where the blame is shared, not just one party's grounds.

Let us learn from these lessons, not repeat the same,
And choose leaders wisely, not swayed by empty fame.
For in this theater of politics, the stage is ours,
To prevent the fool's grip and protect our powers.

The Greatest Commandment: Love

Love is like a rose, a beautiful bloom,

A gift from the Lord, a light in the gloom.

A flame that burns bright, a bond that endures,

A grace that transforms, a love that assures.

It brings us together, this love we impart,

A bond that is sacred, a bond that is heart.

It lifts up the weary, and comforts the sore,

It guides us to peace, and opens the door.

The Bible speaks of love’s sweet grace,

A commandment to follow, a journey in faith.

From the love that God showed on the cross,

To the love that we show, in lives that we’ve lost.

Love is a fruit of the Spirit, we’re told,

A gift from the Lord, to have and to hold.

It shines like the sun, and warms like the flame,

Bringing hope and peace, in Jesus’ name.

Therefore, let us embrace this love, every day,

With kindness and grace, in all that we say.

For it is a treasure, more precious than gold,

A gift from the Lord, to have and to hold

Comic Paradoxes of Life

In the grand theater of life's parade,

A paradoxical dance we all have played,

Where laughter and irony waltz hand in hand,

Let me regale you with a comic command.

Life's paradoxes, oh, they're quite absurd,

Like finding "lost" keys in your pocket undisturbed,

Or searching for glasses perched on your head,

These daily dilemmas, filling us with dread.

You chase happiness, like a mischievous cat,

Yet it hides in the nooks, where you don't look at,

While stress and worries, they cling with delight,

Like a never-ending battle, a comedic fight.

You're told to relax, let go of your fears,

But then life throws lemons, and they sting your ears,

As you squeeze them for lemonade, sweet and tart,

But forget the sugar, and the taste will depart.

Love, too, presents its own comic twist,

A paradoxical puzzle hard to resist,

When you find the one, your heart's desire,

They snore like a foghorn, setting the house on fire.

You seek fortune and fame, a glamorous quest,

But end up rich with credit card debt, lest

You fall for the lure of sales and bargains grand,

Buying things you don't need, just 'cause they're at hand.

Time, that elusive creature, marches on,

With seconds, minutes, hours, forever gone,

As you yearn for more, it slips through your grasp,

Leaving you pondering the present's fast gasp.

Thus, here we stand, in life's paradoxical rhyme,

Dancing through laughter, one step at a time,

Embracing the quirks, the twists and the turns,

For in comedy's dance, true wisdom we learn.

Therefore, let us laugh and revel in life's comedy,

Embrace the absurdity, with glee and jollity,

For in the paradoxes that life presents,

We find joy and humor, the truest of intents.
